I am almost ready to let this 1995 HZJ75 go . I bought this last year from the po in France that had it for about 15 years and used it to visit Africa where he had a girlfriend that later became his wife and moved with him to France . From that moment on the troopy didn’t get used much anymore and when it started having engine issues it got parked and big plans where made for a restoration. They started taking it apart and then life got in the way and it just sat there until I bought it.
I replaced the 1HZ with one that I pulled out of a HZJ73 some time ago when I did a 1HDT swap on it . This 1HZ has about 120k miles on it and purs like a kitten , I installed a new timing belt kit , waterpump, all hoses and a new oem clutch kit. The troopy itself has almost 200 k miles on it and has traveled all over Europe and Africa so there are some dings and dents in the body and on the roof as there was a humongous roof rack on it at the time.
I have installed a new oem windshield in it , new rear mat and jump seats , new batteries and so on. Waiting on a ebrake cable that is backordered for the moment and a few little nic nacs for the interior.
Asking 45k for this unicorn with ac and lockers .
