JDM electrical diagram? Looking for the reverse signal (1 Viewer)

I have an HDJ81v - it's a 1996 with the 1HD-FT engine.

I installed a backup camera and need a signal to tell the camera I'm in reverse. It's an auto transmission.

Anyone know where to find a diagram or have experience wiring one of these up?

I believe you want to tap into the shifter wire harness. On my 1990 it's a Red-Black wire:
