Beautiful truck! I noticed the tachometer wasn't too happy with what was going on. I assume not calibrated/won't work with a V8, so its going bananas? I wonder if there is a way to convert the signal? I know I've done it on some tac's that were expecting 4 cylinders but it was a six.

Any idea what year/identification the motor/trans are for ease of ordering parts/servicing?

Thank you. I had a signal converter installed to have the LS talk to the Toyota tach - when driving normally it works fine however as you can see when I stepped on it, the tach was confused. The signal converter is programmable so it may need tweaked.
As for the engine and trans I believe it came out of a 2004 Trailblazer Ext
 
Do you happen to know who did the swap?
