Cleaned up the interior after the test run trip. Then on the drive to dinner date with Mary this happened

Light em boys! Let there be Light! Redesigning of the fridge slide mount resulted in removing fridge, slide, mount and further dissembling of slide to mount tonight. When the wife brought drinks out and we debated a few engineering designs, I remembered I had an interior LED light kit (purchased back in 12/14/13). She and I worked quick magic to install and I will let the pictures doing the talking.

21 days ago at 1300 I started the cruiser, but only made it to the end of my driveway when a t-storm turned into a hail and wind storm. I drove around my yard and parked in-front of the house for 30 minutes. Thankfully the storm passed and I began my westward adventure.

Sewing a steering wheel turns out is time consuming, frustrating, and just plain difficult . I enlisted help from my better half and it is turning out better than I expected.

Spent yesterday grinding off the surface rust on the legs for the trailer, but as normal when Dad is trying to get ready for a trip too much other stuff prevented me from painting/finishing. One of those other responsibilities was remembering and actually reinstalling the fly on the tent and the mattress cover, since I cleaned them both after the last trip in August . I leave tomorrow to run the Kentucky Adventure Trail.

Safe travels Q. I love my Lonky steering wheel cover. Makes me smile every time I get in Georgine.

@TRDdrew thanks. The lift gate and tailgate work great and look even better.

A few fun pictures from Thursday’s run of the KAT.

After striking out at our first planned campsite, plus getting a weird vibe from those setting up, we drove another hour to find this phenomenal campground. Had it to ourselves for the night.

Since Mother Nature has yet to throw us some real snow, I spent some time
Sanding down my winter wheels and then
painted them with Duplicolor Wheel Graphite.

mostly unrelated but got the blizzak dm-v2 for the rav4 and amazing tires in the snow and ice so far... but to keep on thread - I dig the color...

Good looking white hundo!

Which firepit is that? The one powered by propane. TY.

White 100 squad!

@uzj100 yes my friend’s fire pit is fueled by a propane tank. It was great both for the ambience, but especially for its heat!

@pawwright, I have had Blizzacks since 2013 for both my 100 and my wife’s Audi. I drove the 100 on I90 in several whiteout blizzards and into driveways with 14” + of snow. I can tell that my stopping distance improves when I make the switch from Nitto Terra Grappler IIs to the blizacks. They make the 100 the perfect family winter driving vehicle. The sedan version is also impressive on her A4.
