Awesome man. Get the pure gas app and it will show you where the non ethanol stations are. I use it when I take trips.

Or if all else fails, you need to use the ultra copper permatex sealant. It will tolerate the heat better. Put down a bead and set the carb on top and let it set up for a bit before tightening it down all the way.

I’ll try that stuff next. Right now I have the stuff that says it’s rated for contact with fuel. I think the label is gold? But it’s blue once I squeeze it out.

I took it easy across the Everglades, took brakes after hard pushes. We made a quick stop in Naples to see the new bronco, then back to the auto train.

I made notes for their driver this time. Last guy popped the clutch loading the train. Then when they unloaded they couldn’t get it started. It looked like the kept bumping the starter till it cleared the train car, then pushed it off to the side for

The 40 has been running great. It’s been on vineyard duty mostly running tools back and forth. Thinking of buying a small utility trailer to hold a big water tank for watering the vines.

We had our wedding reception earlier this month. We did a camp out weekend kind of thing. We had our grand entrance in the 40 as if we had just gotten back from key west. Good fun!

40 is running good. Had it on sled pulling duty today. Kids are getting so old. Only the youngest is into it and probably not for much longer.

She actually drove around the field a bit too. First time driving a car and first time doing a clutch!

Busy week! Thank you @Poser for helping me with the parts and several tech support questions.

Using posers kit, I finally ditched the rear drums. I think the rear drums pretty much haven’t worked since I put the disks up front. Even with a proportioning valve and fj80 master, I just wasn’t moving enough fluid to activate all 4 rear cylinders.

Stops great with the ‘80 Monte Carlo discs in the rear.
