Thanks, these look pretty good. Have you installed and how long have you had them for? Any idea on the labor rate for install? Post pics if you can. Thanks!
I've not installed them myself. First saw them on an Eric Sarjeant build:

More like over a two weekend period, but the 200 took me on two completely different but equally awesome adventures. It is great to have something that can both tow a trailer in relative comfort, yet still be very capable offroad. None of my other cruisers can check both of those boxes.

First adventure was a fall camping trip to an undisclosed high Sierra camp spot. My 5yo son was able to catch his first fish and was worth the trip just for that. Smores at the campfire and ghost stories were great too. While I am typically a fan of tent camping, with kids, a trailer makes life so much easier. Did a mild trail up to Leavitt Lake. Early season snow from 2 weekends prior made for some great photos.

Next adventure was part 2 of a muzzle loader central NV mule deer hunt. While I have no problem with 500yd shots with a rifle, open sight muzzleloader is a whole different hunt. I spent 12+ hours hiking between 10,500 and 11,000 ft. while missing (4) 160-170 yd shots at some really nice 4 points. I was completely exhausted after that so the next day a buddy came out to help and we did some "road style" hunting and I came up on a forky at 90 yds. It was the last day of my tag and I care more about meat than horns so after a quick standing shot, it was meat in the cooler. Kind of nice to be able to drive up to a deer and quarter it out right next to the truck, vs having to spend 2 days packing it out on foot. Even found a pile of pinion pinenuts on the way back to camp.

I am a firm believer in hanging meat in a walk in fridge for 7 days before processing. Spent a full day processing everything but if you do it yourself you end up with really good cuts. Even the kids had second helpings of backstrap steak.

Next weekend(s) project:

Paint Dissent Rear bumper, install LRA aux tank, install King 2.0s, install Nitro UCAs, rear air bags, Icon Vector 5 wheels and new tires. Everything is here except the wheels.

Finally had a chance to fix the evap leak on the 200. New charcoal canister. No biggie minus its above the LRA tank which was full.. Took longer than it should have. Even with a lift and fuel tank jack.

Buffed the headlights, new bulbs, paint matched the bumper filler finally. Wired up the rigid cubes to come on with the high beams.

Interesting, does the non-US market land cruiser have a different hitch / tow bar set up?
Most overseas 200 series I've seen have the US military style coupling, bolted directly on to the rear of the vehicle instead of a receiver for a 2" hitch. Check out the 200 series picture thread to see what I'm talking about.

wow this looks incredible. Love how integrated it is where it looks like this is stock. Are the rear quarter panels cut or a full new piece to account for the swing arms? Like @tbisaacs said, is this an overseas only thing?
I haven't installed one, but have looked a lot. I believe the swingarms fit through the refector cavity, so that part stays OEM-ish, but you still have to cut the rear bumper to make room for the metal bumper.

I finally got around to changing the transfer case oil in my 2018 with 17,400 miles. I meant to do it last year but procrastinated. It was a no muss no fuss job as drain & fill plugs came out easily. Oil came out coffee brown. I'm not sure if that's normal or not for a truck that's had light use so far.

Replaced it with the Toyota gear oil, new washers and a different set of drain fill plugs; both magnetized. Note OEM drain plug had no magnet however the corresponding Lexus part does! Now I have magnets on both drain & fill plugs. (Yeah, I know. LOL! 😎)

Parts list:
  • Oil: Toyota Transfer Gear Oil LF 75W 08885-81080
  • Fill plug: rear diff drain 24mm bolt long with magnet 90341-18040
  • Drain plug: Lexus transfer case drain plug with magnet 90341-18057
  • Washers: 90430-A0003 (2 flat aluminum washers)
