Great intel. @cruiseroutfit …. Take my money
SOR also makes the missing knobs for the bug vents, but for correct reproductions get some out of Oz from @andybudge . The flap for the vent is also correctly reproduced in Oz and Andy should be able to hook you up.

Be very careful when undoing the nuts on the vent, the little screws love to break and make a note of the sequence of how it comes together.

Happy to assist!

I’m assuming the “kit” means it’s two in a pack or do I order 2?

The early 45 with windshield vents, bug catcher vents and rear sliding glass are the most amazing for air flow in the cab. Unreal.

The final two bolts came away easily and the bed left the SWB for the first time in 58 years

The trip back was rough without the weight of the bed on the suspension

It’s irresistible not to do a burnout though with the bed off.

I always forget to wear gloves with POR15 the first time I start using it. It literally gets into the skin and won’t come out. I scrubbed and scrubbed. Going out to dinner. I’m a menace.

I got some sweet stickers for it. 😬

I’ve been fooling with little stuff to knock back heat and noise today.

The Wizard is here to make heat shields. The firewall is blistering from the fire breathing 1FZ and we are taking care of that

Hello,

I may be stating the obvious here. Please bear with me.

The 1FZ's exhaust manifold has two bolt-on heat insulation plates that are missing in your truck.

Yes but they don’t shield the firewall they shield the fender in an OEM application where there are heat sensitive items.

They find do anything facing the 40 series firewall.

I’m also wanting to Cover up all of the black plugs and randomness from years I’ll of drilling
