Do regular hills under torrential rain apart from the mud in the farm and it never has let me down so far, for sand I deflate down to 22psi and it works out real good.
I don’t even deflate for beach sand. Have had no issues.

Interesting. Headed to Corolla, Outer Banks this Sunday. Will be using the Yoko's for the first time in sand.
OBX sand is much, much softer, and deeper. Highly recommend you air down on any beach out here. It saves your driveline and keeps the beach from getting torn up, and potentially keeps you from getting stuck. May also prevent inadvertent beach bon fire. As is said on the banks "Don't be a clown, air down" 🤙

Gotcha, we have been there plenty of times. Love driving on the beach there.

Just switched from the Yoko MT's to the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT in stock size but also LT version. The Yokos started getting a little scary in the rain and loud. Yes, I know it is a mud terrain. The Mickey Thompson's are a dream compared to the Yoko's and look just as good. The annoying vibration common with the 4Runners is also gone. I have not tested them in anything but rain yet but definitely seem to be an excellent choice so far.

Have probably 20-25k on my 37’s since I put them on around this time 2021, they are worn to the point to where it’s really starting to want to wander all over the road. Lots of rocky wheeling trips. Happy enough with them to replace with another set of the same thing.
