Finished up the new rear door weatherstrip, air cleaner assembly installed, some misc odds and ends and another bit of miles. Took my 5 year old to soccer practice and got some pics. Either tonight or tomorrow morning Tom will be taking it home. Will come back in a few weeks to give it a checkup and install front seat covers and the bumper and winch.

Tom has been racking up the miles on this 79. We’ve already done an oil change and fixed a couple minor issues that have come up but it seems to be running and driving great. Still waiting on the seat covers but in the meantime, whipped up some reinforcements and a mounting plate for the bumper to mount an 8274. Even painted in pewter.

Bumper and winch mounted. Waiting on a new hook for the cable, need to install the battery cables and a couple more bolts but it’s sturdy and not going to get scratched kicking around my shop! Looks like it belongs!
