Small came in today from Classic Cruisers.

Defrost tab and a windshield wiper nut. Those are getting hard to find. Glad they shared one with me

I was missing that def knob on my cruiser.
I was cleaning the inside of the glove box with clr and removing black paint. I felt something in the far left corner wedged between the glove box and the firewall.
And wouldn’t you know it! It was the DEF knob.
I had it on the list of things to find and buy.

Here we have my reproduction 20mm ID dash hole delete plugs

Both in early pre-72 and 72-later

I will be sending Nolan some of each and let him and the client make the final call ,

Me personally , I dig the old skool chrome delete service plugs for reasons only @EWheeler might be able to explain at a later date …

These will fill in-dash indicator knock out holes and cigarette lighter ones too …

Some people love the test driving.

Me? I hate it. I’m always on pins and needles in someone else’s vehicle.

And here is why?

A damn buzzard decided to fly in front of the FST while I was driving about 50

Not to fear body wise but the foul creature barfed up its lunch all over the grill.

It not smells like a sewer in my shop.

Dammit man.

What was that thing eating? A snake?

Yeah. I just found more.

It was not in the road it swooped down.

I literally screamed.

Just dug out another bit of snake

I got 100 test miles into it. It’s tight. I’m happy.

Put it on the rack and snugged up the ubolts, suspension and driveline bolts.

Drained the oil since this was a new motor break in. Swapped out the small break in filter with one of the last of the Classic Big Boi filters. This one deserves it.

I have a couple hours of stuff to do tomorrow and then I get to load it up for an early Sunday morning departure for Florida.

The total time on this was 327 hours labor. We will be one week shy of 3 months upon delivery.

No way this could have been so smooth and fast without the motor from @OverLand Cruisers

I have about 6 of these filters. Do they have expiration date? They still have the plastic over the top.
