Picked this up from my aunt. She has owned it since new. She gave it to me for free. This may scare all of you southern dudes. It's spent it's whole life in North Central Illinois. Runs like dream. Interior is perfect . Body has cancer. Will take it work next week and put it up on the lift and show you guys some more rust belt rust porn. Watch if you dare !

Rockers are gone, left front fender arch rusted. Stayed tuned. Illinois always gets'em

Same here, I bought aftermarket fenders for $429 shipped for both and $84 for 24’ of 2”x6”x1/8” steel tubing.

Edit: 22 years in southern Michigan

Saw the most rusty 100 I’ve ever seen today at chic fil a. 03+, beige color, rockers were nonexistent, upper hatch was about 60% gone ( never seen this much rust in upper hatch), even lower hatch was rusted out. Yet still driving around no problem. Wish I snapped a pic but he drove out before I had a chance.

Side steps hold all the snow encrusted salt all winter long. Good stuff. NOT.

I live in the rust belt, so don't take this the wrong way, but is it worth registering and insuring in that condition? I look at that as a liability if the brake lines pop at the wrong time.

Mine’s pretty rusty, too, though not as bad. It runs like a champ. Have been able to get all undercarriage maintenance chores done without issue.

I’ll get another 5-7 years out of her. Then find a nice, clean southern one
