Sorry for no update yesterday, I fell asleep before I wrote anything 🤡

Anyways, lots of stuff done.

Atomic-cool trans cooler mounted.

20220723_113304.jpg

Trans lines cut and flared. Need to get 1/2 hose.

20220723_130639.jpg

Start on the air box. I love aluminum.

Air filter fits great. It's an AEM Dryflow, like I always run. Should theoretically flow about 2x the necessary volume for this engine.

20220723_171021.jpg

Inital test fit of the box.

20220723_172623.jpg

Mounts cut out and dimple died.

20220723_215727.jpg

Tucks in nicely.

20220723_215744.jpg

I'm not sure if I like the lid.

20220723_215939.jpg

First intake tube mocked in.

20220723_223614.jpg

First hole cut.

Driver side tube

20220724_102148.jpg

MAF Bungs.

20220724_151713.jpg

Done! Lots of bungs that had to be welded.

20220724_170402.jpg

ARB manifold mount.

20220724_194538.jpg

Fits awesome, everything clears.

20220724_195559.jpg

All that is left is the ECM / TCM mount, and P/S resi.

20220724_204138.jpg

I didn't like the airbox lid so I remade it.

20220724_210302.jpg

Much better.

20220724_210305.jpg

Anywas, atlas never showed up, and I still have to link my rear, and get everything mated, driveshafts made, and the center console done. Lots to do.

Hope you enjoyed.

I did! You've got talent, vision, and ability to execute so efficiently.

Question - the mascot below the battery in the tray - is that a "Danger Noodle"?

Something like that

I couldnt get the fidelity that I wanted on 3/16 so it's missing several features.

The UPS man was not too happy about the 114lb box

Well, it's been a bit. I went to SAS 6 and had a blast with the Mega Cruiser, and now I'm back working to get my cruiser done for next year.

Throttle pedal mounted.

I've gotten a ton more wiring completed, and everything is hooked up to run, but still waiting on parts to convert the 8l90 to 4x4, and then the atlas should mate right up.

Your build is amazing !! Time for a mine tour.

Thanks, Ron! I hope to have it done by then. It better be, cause I want to drive it. Had a great time with you and Robert at SAS!

Been super busy and had to move back to school since the summer is already over , so I'm just now getting around to updating this.

A quick sanity check.

A quick 4X4 tailhousing swap for the 8l90.

Pan off.

Some random wizardry in there.

Old tailhousing off.

Sheet metal is always fun, especially working around seat mounts.

20220813_101241.jpg

Not the prettiest, but it's all hetting seam sealed and raptor lined again.

20220813_121721.jpg

Not too non-oem looking, not like that matters much on this anyways.

20220813_121734.jpg

Crossmember time. 🎵 I like em thick, I like em chunkyyy 🎵

I don't think this is going to bend any time soon.

I mounted the shifter, but foreheaded and forgot to take pictures.

Anyways, radiator time.

Had to switch sides for both inlet and outlet, added in a temp sensor bung, and a 5/8 hose barb for the oil cooler outlet.

Everything drawn out on where to hack.

All done!

Anyways, I tore everything down and it is at powdercoat, so when I head back next week it should probably be done and ready for reassembly.

Also.
