There's a guy on Denver Craigslist/Mud 40 classifieds selling a high-dollar blue '83 FJ40 currently with aluminum wheels that says he also has the set of original wheels included. Might be worth a phone call.

Buy some FJ60 chrome ones and have the chrome removed. I believe they are identical.

They are exactly the same but with Chrome plating.

I've had 2 sets of the chrome, blasted and powder coated....they've held up perfect.....neither set is on trucks that are abused....

The stock steel is 5.5”
All the spoked are 6”

I will have 5 once I find some aftermarket alloys that fit the huge bore that is needed. My 75’ has later model white spoke steelies that are still in such good shape you can still see the worn red pinstripe along the edge. But I need to buy my replacement wheels before I can sell them.
