Front tires didn’t melt off, same with windshield rubber. So maybe the engine compartment stuff survived. What’s that lever thingy on the driver’s side front cowl for? Mirror?

Hey, look at that, an FJ25 driver’s seat frame. Hmmmm…. 😝

Roll🤣 sort of!

So just got home, the good , the bad, the ugly. I will throw e few pics out now, and more to come later. Quick history. Guy I bought it from, it was his uncles that had 1000 acre ranch in oroville ca. he bought it in 1970! So in the family til now. It was parked about 35 years ago in a field! He mentioned a grass fire licked the back end!!! So a few of the good things!!!!

I'm pleased with my purchase. Drivetrain looks good. Radiator is original fj25. Alternator is correct. Master cylinders appear to be correct from what I can see. Wheels are correct. Great parts for my projects.
Im guessing an early 1959. It has the earlier f105 front motor mount. The frame is a 1958 or 1959. As Brian mentioned the front fender support brace has 4 bolts and not 3 bolt triangle setup. All 1958's that I have owned had the 3 bolt pattern support braces. Even those which were stamped 1959 on the data plate but had an 8-FJ25 vin on the frame. The 1958's all had 4 digit serial numbers. This has a 5 digit number. Must be a 1959 with the earlier engine. Also for those that do not know, the fj25 tailgate is different than later fst tailgate. The center stamped middle support brace is a different size.

Congratulations on the purchase. I see a ton of rare, usable parts on that rig. Yes it has rust especially in the back but up front, I think the parts will clean up. With a lot of work the 25 could be brought back to life even.

Master Cylinder's are correct. That's great news! If you haven't noticed I'm trying to convince myself I didn't just make a mistake. 😂
Just teasing. Very happy with my decision! I need these parts for my other 25. Much easier to find most of them all together. Piecing it together takes forever and gets very expensive.

I got excited when I saw the tool box was bolted shut! My excitement ended when there was no floor to the toolbox! All gone unfortunately

Definitely some great parts there! When hunting for 20 series stuff you can’t pass up opportunities. Individual parts are hard to come by and $$. Looks like another good score I think you did great! I’ll keep posting up ads whenever I see them. Congrats Gabe and thanks for being on the spot Brian!
