Just read the whole thread. WOW!
What a build!

Your fab skills are top notch, and creativity as well!

Let's hope things settle down globally soon, and we can all just have fun messing with and talking about our rigs!

Thanks.

Meanwhile building not completed.
Several years ago I installed hydro assist.
Stock pump works bad with it.

Complete some mods. High pressure output ported to 5mm.
Pressure up to 120 bar, add a 3mm shim under valve spring.
Add a radiator on return line. It is Mitsubishi pajero oil cooler. Perfectly fit in a bumper.

Steering works very well

Did you get your brake rotor issue figured out?

@BILT4ME

Yes, change it to new. Old bolts are cut off. they was marked 10.9, but really be 8.8. Buy new rotor, new bolts 10.9, Tightened with a force of 140nm

This is Brilliant! took me about 10 seconds to want the air bag springs!

I wonder - what is the spring-rate at ride height?
I suppose the spring rate would vary directly with ride height because of the air volume changing, but would be a fairly flat curve with height?
That will have a direct effect on role stiffness and handling, as any spring change would.

One downside of this - regular old coil springs are zero maintenance and last pretty much forever.
The rubber air-springs will age, and need replacement some day. But so many advantages!

Another - you really need enhanced bump stops, since you loose the stock ones inside the springs.

Yes, I made new bump stops.

Hydraulic bump stops are better, but now I can’t buy it.

Coil springs not a forever. Most coil after two or three years downsize.

After six years on mud and snow air springs like new. Cost of one is about 50usd.
