These are held in with magnets, super light and compact.

Welded in some recovery points, the bolt in one's are too low for me.

Instead of the headlights with the incandescent bulbs that came with the ARB bumper, I've mounted LED headlights.
To be used at day time (DRL), I've connected them to the power outlet box in the engine compartment, to the IGN connection.
So after starting, the headlights come on. The light is strong but not blinding.
The light were bought on eBay.

Nice mod. I’m about to do something similar. I ordered an LED replacement for the original from Australia and am going to swap the wire for the bumper light with the corner light. That way the corner light becomes a turn signal and the bumper light becomes a running light.

The well-known Fusible Link of the 80 does not tolerate bending. To protect it, its connection was change - it will be permanently connected to the battery box and only the battery connection could be disconnected.
To do this I purchased a copper screw with lids. The battery compartment was drilled, the Fusible Link is connected on one side and on the other side a cable is connected to the battery.
The side of the Fusible Link is covered and glued with a red plastic cap, to prevent any contact with the live power.
The wire post and the 8AWG wire were ordered from AliExpress.

More like they don't know how or when to return unclaimed special order parts. In other words incompetent. The industry standard for obsolescence is no more than 10% of your inventory value is over 12 months old. Anything Less than that is very good management. I was consistently ZERO dollars over 12 months. That is a miracle, even if I do say that myself.

Ya my local dealership is sooooo bad when it comes to being on top of things and competent.

Cheers

Another average windy sunday playing around at sand hollow.

3" lift with extended bump stops and I can still rub my 315/75/16's.

And I wasn't even flexed that hard, just turning around on some pretty mild slickrock.

Don't fall for this 2" lift can clear 35's mumbo jumbo.

Drive shafts back and installed, took it for the first test drive after motor swap. Only thing I messed up is the oil pressure sender wire!!! I had the black horseshoe clip in the tab instead of the button and think I burned up my gauge in the dash. It was reading high and I started digging around and saw a loose wire. So I swapped them and now my gauge cluster is reading no oil pressure? So swapped my old sender in and still nothing on the dash. Will have to trouble shoot some more tomorrow. Besides that it’s running like a champ.

Yeah you grounded out the gauge on your dash. I did that before and I think you have to take the dash apart and reset that needle or something like that. OOPS!

@nigelsiam Do you remember exactly what you did? How would I go about resetting a gauge? You did not have to replace it? Thanks Wes

Took dash apart and found the needle had jumped of the gauge, assuming this was form me having my wires hooked up wrong and the gauge was trying to read too high by grounding out. Also replaced gauge bulbs with new and put in a D light bulb! But forgot the park one was out also next time I’m in there I’ll replace. Thanks @nigelsiam

Your wheels look great in this picture.. you got them refinished? If so where..
Yes. They were milled then refinished as OEM. A place in Escondido called BumperDoc.

This week is shaping up pretty good. Curious to know if anyone has any experience with Continental Terraincontact tires.m?

I picked up a set of 5 on a veterans deal. LT285//75/16 A/T E’s.

I’m getting them mounted this morning and I’m anxious to see how they do. Price was great.

That's the plan. I could junk it for $100 in my pocket.. which would probably save me some money in the long run... lol
That thing's a CreamPuff. You better bring it with you.
