You may want to make some clear polycarbonate windows to protect the real windows from flyin balls and errant cue balls

Also have two 18 panel glass door with same treatment. I would say it was protection for the grandkids…but has saved my tail a few times already.

Last fall we had two large poplars plus a cedar and a sweet gum cut / craned out…poplars we’re dying and dropping huge limbs. Combined, they all provided lots of shade to our back deck. With them gone we needed some shade to make being on the deck at least bearable…so I built a thing.

Semi large cantilever shade sail structure. Supported by concrete footings and ‘knees’ attached to our large deck. Powder coated black and all (except the epoxy anchors) stainless hardware. Hasn’t blown over yet!

My dad was a butcher in the 50's-60's and this was his butcher block. It's been in storage at my brother's house for the last 20+ years. He's moving so it was great to grab this and start prepping it to go in our kitchen.

I have absolutely no idea how to treat this so research in progress... I assume I can just sand it but want to confirm before I do any irreparable damage.

Hated to miss meet n greet but I had a small
“Window” of opportunity to get this project done (started).

Had an installer that owed me a favor so I pulled the units out and he came up and helped me knock out the install and exterior metal coil work. I still need to finish interior trim.

Swapped the kitchen windows for a single fixed unit and the mudroom/kitchen door as well.
