The weather is better these days here in Greece, so i started to work on chassis (outside). Today i removed the axles and start washing it.

The most important tool for the whole restoration till now is my custom made bridge crane. I build it before i start to disassemble the car, it comes easily into pieces so that i can store it, and the two side pieces were build to work also as a rotisserie.

I continued this week and put a double tow hook at the rear end of the chassis.

I also fortified a little the chassis at the rear because of the "suffering" it has been through by towing other vehicles... I was thinking of some more spots to reinforce but then i thought i will need to change the 3b to 3bt and to order rear leaf springs with +500kg constant load with all this steel...😋😋😋😋 So i stopped here, hoping that the chassis is ok, knowing that it may has a little extra weight underneath, but it's a shortbed, so i will be ok...

Once i ended up with the chassis cleaning, i decided to build two hinges at the rear end that will hold the brackets for the spare wheel and the extra diesel tank. So i took some parts from the tow that i removed from the truck. Enjoy....
