I had a slab of Doug Fir at home leftover from cutting firewood last year. I decided to take it to the property to make a table replacing the sheet of plywood table that’s been here since I bought the property.
I also had a round of Western Red Cedar which is a very softwood. I brought it for throwing axes.
Insulated the bathroom structure til just about 10:30pm. It was cold into the 20s by the time I was done. Got the generator going and heater running. Went from 36F inside to 68F in about a half hour.
Friday I started the retrench… why would somebody install a conduit and not to code. It was less than 24” in certain spots. Dug the trench at 4’. Code it deeper than 36” to top of conduit. Just dug and followed the conduit. Was careful not to damage it as a stick of 3” PVC conduit it running $70-80 for 10 feet…
“Let’s go Brandon!”
What a difference digging in April compared to August. The moisture even in the hard cinder rock made digging a bit easier.
