Has anyone ever used Discount Tire or Tire Rack to order wheels/tires? Their database doesn’t list FJ40 only Landcruisers back to the early 80’s. If I find a wheel and tire package that fits an early Landcruiser should it still fit my 65 FJ40?

I use discount tire direct occasionally, but I am usually searching for specific tires in specific sizes, not a wheel tire package.
Just buy se OEM steelies and some rubber to mount, or go to Les Schwab.

I’ve used Tire Rack for years across many different vehicles. Never had an issue. Most often I drop ship to a shop for mounting. I’ve mainly purchased on line but have also used their “consultants“ who were knowledgeable and helpful.
Personally, I use discount tire always. They offer insurance on tires, and, they hold to their word, always. Arizona is hard on tires and they always keep the customer happy and informed. You cannot go wrong using them. I will say I never used them online as there are a lot where I live.
