Sitting on my ass on this floor with an open transmission cover for 20 minutes at 2000 rpm for camshaft break-in was a bad idea all around.

It does tell me I need to get the Wizard to make a nice heat shield for me

The Wizard was up late last night doing Wizard things.

I scooped up his work and took it to my paint wizard and begged him for a quick work in so I can build out the interior and do some testing.

Stay turned.

The Tom Woods stuff was the perfect length. I ordered the right TCase patterns but in M10 bolt not M11 which the late cases take. I hit them with a proper bit and in they went.

I normally do standard non-CV shafts but in this rear I had a bit more compound angle than Normal so i went with CV

In the front I went with the CV to ensure the shaft would have plenty of clearance on our home made early 60 series crossmember. The CV pushes the shaft forward before it starts down so it has lots of room at full droop.

I bet your metal wizard and your paint wizard both have threads in metal and paint forums and refer to you as the Land Cruiser wizard.

Are u going to cut and turn the front axle with the cv? Shim the back? Or think they will be fine?

The front would have been fine no CV except I needed the room to clear the crossmember.

I added the rear CV because the rear output is at 3* down and the pinion on the rear is 0*

That’s probably not too bad to cause a vibration but the CV is good insurance.
