Installed the Midland MXT500. Tapped into the Radio fuse with a fuse tap on the passenger side for power. I would have thought that there wouldn't be power unless at least accessories was enabled but the radio still turns on? The radio has an auto-off feature, so I'm not concerned, but was surprised it still had power with the car completely off. I guess the fuse box is wired to the battery and not after the ignition?

Gave Big Blue a couple cranks on the torsion bars, new rear OE springs, rear OE shocks, and rear sway bar links with d bushings. Only snapped two bolts in the process and for a 22 year old Michigan vehicle, that’s a par for sure. Drill them out and replace tomorrow, for now I’m dead.

I’ve completed a few things off the list this weekend! I finally replaced the broken window switch and bezel on the drivers door, and then I moved on the the rear quarter panel! Killed two birds one stone on this one! I had a problem where the rear quarter glass bolts on the C pillar. The lowest bolt ended up coming loose, so I tightened that back up, and I am now currently working on replacing the foam surround
On the subwoofer with one from Simply Speakers. Then, I can get everything put back together!

As it goes: pulled the passenger rear door panel to tighten the door handle bolt, which was loose. Also found a busted speaker cone and rusted speaker - anyone seen this before? Then literally handfuls of broken plastic and small metal parts. Previous owner, wha?!

Installed a new set of Denso coils that I bought over a year ago. I used this as an opportunity to perform an annual plug tube health check. The plugs are all still nice and tight. Though I did see a couple of cylinders that have wet tube seals. New VC gaskets are planned for later in May as part of a top-end and under plenum refresh.

No idle issues before the change. It runs so smooth that I can balance a coin on the intake. That's one of the reasons that I'm so yahoo crazy about this engine.

When I do the refresh I think I'll go "Full Taco" on it. It deserves it.

Received my ASAP Flaps from @Ramathorn15 last week, and immediately installed the the rears the same day, got to the fronts the next morning, removing the OEM running boards in the process. Got about a 3 inch lift out of it. When I picked my kid of from school he was not pleased that his step was gone. Now I have to decide if I want to go ahead and get some sliders or not. Anyway, I washed the old girl this morning with my new pressure washer. I dipped the emblems and tailgate chrome back in February, I still need to go back and finish the lower chrome on the tailgate.

Installed an ebay snorkel yesterday, which took 2 hours. Half an hour of it was using the template and cutting the holes, and the other 1.5 hours were spent fighting with the rubber coupler that came with it...what a hunk of trash. It was molded in a way where it wanted to collapse at all times. Snorkel itself seems well made.

The snorkel paid for itself the first night I used it, because we found some serious water during wheeling that evening. Took the day off from working on crap today and went to the beach.
