Finally got my windshield wipers connected to my switch pros switches. The challenge was going from ground based switches to the 12 volt power of the switch pros.

I really learned a lot about induction spikes so I added inline diodes inline from the switch pros wires connected to two surpressed relays on post 85 and ground connections on 30 and 86. 87s were connected to the wiper motor.

Unfortunately, I couldnt get park running so itll have to wait until I remove the top and can get to the wiper motor.

I set up the switch pro switch as an ON / ON / OFF. One press is low speed, second press is high speed (barely noticeable) and third press turns it off.

Changed out the tires for a "new" set of factory wheels. Thanks to @MrBG for the opportunity to refurb his old stock wheels and add them to my rig - just in time for the great weather. Had them powder coated and added some new caps.

Painted a flywheel inspection cover I found on ebay (mine was missing) and installed it this morning. It's officially the cleanest part under the 40.
There's a little rubber plug that goes in the hole... for some reason. Not sure if they're still available.

The in tank pump is going to sit center toward the back, right where that beaded depression is going at an angle. You’ll just have to flatten the bead with hammer and dolly to get a good seal.

Installed some late model seats in the 82. Not sure exactly what GM model or year they're out of but they are much more comfortable then the worn out originals. The drivers is 6-way electric so a dedicated power circuit was ran and protected with a fuse. Toyota's bolt pattern are 15" apart, these are 19.5" so some custom bracket were made from scrap steel I had.

Rear outboard mount. Using 3/16" x 1.5 angle and 1/8" gussets made for a solid mount.

Rear inboard mount.

The front mounts were also made from the same stock. Both seats have side bags and heaters. The passengers seat has three manual adjustments.
Front to back, recline/fold fwd, and a side lever that ratchets the seat up/down.

The drivers seat had 16 wires to decipher, Turns out two red power wires and two black ground is all that's required to power to the three motors.

Installed and working fine. I'm gonna enjoy the ride a bit more. :steer:

Turns out there's a Black Widow living under the passengers seat. I got a glimpse of her after instal. IDK how I didn't get bit as I handles this seat numerous times during fit-up. Gonna try to sneak up on her with the shop vac. :cautious:

Have an awesome weekend!

If you're giving them away.
They were originally on my forty. Couldn't find the parts when one broke. So I went with Warn.
Was going to sell them eventually but if you’re interested, they’re yours for cost of shipping.
