More #billspec.

Bill mated together a 70 and 80 shaft to make it fit. 70 series is 14mm x 36 spline at the firewall, 80 box is 17mm x 36 spline.
He also notched and plated the shock tower for clearance.

One step closer.

Oh man, big progress.

@bkcruiser fixed the crooked steering column with a simple bracket that kicks the column 1” left. One hole in the column plate and boom, straight steering wheel. The trucks now turns and steers. This is major progress.

Great idea... with that bracket it sits 3/8 lower now (thickness of your offset flatbar) Can you flip those mounting points over to offset that?

@2fpower with the tilt column it’s not noticeable at all.

I just hope the steering wheel clamshell doesn’t hit the edge of the dash.

Great solution, Galen! Those bite sized chunks of progress are moving you along nicely.

Dave, it is all Bill, not me. But it’s moving along!

Does this bed make my ass look weird?

Or I could do what Maltec did and put a long bed on a double cab….talk about loooong wheelbase….

Like driving your wife's big Ford.

Fits a lot of mangy mutts in it though.

Even the single cab has the turn radius of a Bluebird bus. 😊

Slight fabrication required
