Nah... still a little orange peel, but figure its good enough for an engine bay.

So. Im thinking this rig is getting coils and the holes in the fenders are for the shocks... (as supposed to cut the whole fender, you just cut the holes on top), but I think I assumed too much eh !!!
Them holes must be part of the OEM fender set up ( vague memory on what a stock engine bay is supposed to look like)

Either way... as stated already, clean bay...!!!

Awesome work.... J !!!

looks incredible. Think a little orange peel makes it look more like it would coming out of the factory (check that, much better than factory). Those wheels look fantastic painted.

3B is cleaned up and ready to disassemble. AC bracket parts are rare from what I can tell so.... did some research and cut some brackets. More cleaning on the frame and body.

Turbo kit is ordered from Turbo-Glide in Australia.

Front axle is built and rear locker is set up.

I'm watching this one... very similar to what my goals are. So is it an FJ60 that had a previous 3B / H55F swapped into it?

Mark,

Yes, a FJ that 3B was added in to. Had an old H41 4spd and tcase. Getting a new H55F and rebuild splitcase with aluminum bellhousing.

Rebuilding the 3B and adding a TG - GT25 Turbo. Adding an AC and gong back to Toyota PS pump set up; removing the scabbed in GM pump.
