And climbing, uses about 1/2 litre oil between changes, I know it’s the valve seals and those will be done soon.

I don’t belong here yet, just finishing the break-in & hit a nice number on my way home from work 😜

Has needed no major work, just the usual baselining, and an upcoming knuckle rebuild after this winter, even though all it really needs are axle seals & wiper assembly. Would also like to check compression just to get numbers, but have no signs of lacking performance in any regard, really.

Edit: just had a local friend tell me his 1st gen built tacoma hit 333,333 today. Now that’s strange. This is a sign.

When I bought it in 2005 with 129k miles, the Lexus dealership owner's wife drove it. He said at 40k miles, I believe, it went like 12k miles without an oil change so he had some things done to it. Not sure what exactly but it has traveled a few miles since then with nothing at all major done to it...to engine or tranny.

That is REALLY cool! Other than expecting to need a headgasket before too awfully long, I'm only half way to where you are on my '96. Truly awesome vehicles!

96. I have 415k. And I have been running 33's for at least 10 years.
