Has anyone else seen this 200-series two-door conversion that’s making the rounds on Instagram?

I’ve seen it posted a few times on IG; linking a post here with multiple photos and a video:

Is this real or idiotically modified LC120 platform?

I don't see the point or the advantage...

What kills me is that they kept the snake blinders.

Better breakover angle? More agile in small places off-road?

Man I don’t know, that’s pretty cool. Imagine it with a small lift and some mud tires. Modern day 73/74 series mid wheelbase.

How much weight do you think they chopped out? 1K, maybe 1500 lbs? That would be a pretty great power to weight ratio

Toyota could sell huge numbers if they would bring this to the US.

It’s actually a 2011 URJ200 that’s been modified to be a 2 door model, and then converted to be a 2016+ 200. It was made by a shop here in qatar, and here’s some more info about it. Apparently you can get your 200 converted to a 2 door model, but it’ll take 2 months.
