What height filter element and filter base/top are you currently using? Do a severe drop base air filter. There are different ones but you should probably be able find them to give you the clearance, if the holley sniper set up uses a 4150 style diameter? Run a wide diameter filter housing with shorter element for more clearance as well and then run an element filter top if needing the extra airflow (I doubt it would be necessary with a mild 350).

I had seen someone on this forum graft a 2004 4runner or Hilux hood scoop on an 80 hood, beautiful job. I could not find the post. At least 3 to 4 years ago.

I know that scoop is from the 04-05 STi.
And 8 years later its still trucking on. Off a 78 series grafted in.
I debated doing a 4runner sport graft but the Scoobie was a great fit when I was planning a top mounted IC'er...... yes 04' STI model IIRC. it for sure isn't for everyone but does really keep temps down in tandem with the vents.

i am running XJ hood vents, they fit well and look good IMO.
