They love the snow… but no snow balls.

The black dogs are direct genetic path, naturally oily skin and fur. Like wild animals.
Soft genetically created dogs have that bred out of them. But they are cute.

Ivory is 9.5 and full Lab.

Alabaster has just recently turned 1 and is 1/2 Lab and 1/2 Pyrenees. Both breeds are working dogs that were bred to thrive out in the elements.

Ali likes to go lay down outside when it’s raining and in the snow. Her fur is much softer, but still sheds water.

Any guess who’s who?

Blue collar the young one?

And just for dog pics.

A very young Fiddich in montana. He'd had enough of the truck apparently

This one doesn't much care for being cold. Basically a cat.

They both have blue collars... ;)

But the one where it is visible is correct.

Years ago when we only had one dog, he was a slender little border collie.
We were in cow bay and some guy says," that's what I was supposed to get."
He opens the hatch and huge Newfie jumps out with the white border collie tail tip and forehead blaze.

Apparently every other pup in the litter was a small border collie

Mama got some 'splainin' to do...

Was an awesome dog tho.

Have to post one of our old man who just turned 13 yrs young... still thinks he's a pup when ever he plays with other dogs!
Django (unleashed, the D is silent 😆), out today with his human sisters up the Squamish River.

Anyone have doggy school they’d recommend? Ali growled at a smaller dog for a few seconds, before moving on to complete the class… and a week later the trainer called me up and kicked us out of the class. I’m feeling a bit frustrated since I told the trainer before the class she sometimes had an issue with other dogs. The trainer wasn’t interested in how much better Ali has been doing this past week around other dogs… her mind was made up… no discussion.

Apparently signing up for a companion dog training class is code for “small lap dog”.
