I decided to swap out the alphaequipt wheels I had for some Method MR314’s. These are +18 offset vs the +25 the alphas had. I’ll need to trim a little more now as it rubs a tiny bit at full lock when backing up.

First off road mod - Trail-Tailor red front recovery hooks. Christmas present from my in-laws. I know it’s small but it’s the first step in build plan. It will be mild off road build - new wheels, 33” tires, hidden winch bumper, sliders should about do it.

Finally got my Dissent front bumper on. Got to play in some snow here in Los Angeles.

Yosemite a couple days ago. No complaints about my Wildpeaks either. They handled great in the snow.

Some fun in the snow today near Lone Pine canyon / Lytle creek.

This truck makes me look good, she easily goes places others say isn’t possible. The fuel mileage is also phenomenal—8mpg in the snowy hills but worth every penny.

The KO2s, as usual, are excellent in snow but still slip on the shady sections where it’s icy.

Added a stacked basket to the rear carrier that can be swung rearward. Great for carrying things in travel, but also keeping things off the ground at camp.

man we have still not yet done some adventuring with our new to us LX yet but that RTT must help to boondock in a rocky spot like that! Im still trying to hold off on even considering one until we get some more trips under our belt

Totally. The rugged backcountry here is where RTTs earn its keep! Getting stakes in the ground can be next to impossible in spots which is required as we had gusting winds in the 30mph+ one day. Slept 2 in-car and 2 in RTT, in 30 degree weather, and wife was comfortable enough that she'd do it again.
