What's more important than color is flushing the coolant system at least every two years. I do mine yearly. That's fair. I just assumed it was already red

Tell me more about this mod. I haven't felt my stock power steering is lacking but I'm still on stock tire size.
Pick up a set of left-hand drill bits with easy outs from O'Reilly's. IIRC, they are a cobalt bit and do an excellent job. I had the same issue on mine and as I started drilling, it caught and unscrewed the remainder of the stud.Replaced the tie rod ends with some 555s that the previous owner had purchased.
Discovered that a knuckle stud has been sheared off, and is broken inside of the knuckle (not the arms on the underside )
Anyone have tips for getting that stud out of a blind hole? Start drilling?
Going to source a 2 1/8" socket tomorrow to start taking apart the front knuckle on that side.
Took my 80 skiing for the first time. Mt Shasta area.
I’ve owned 2, 4WD Tacomas and 2 Outback’s in my life, none of those vehicles compare to how sure-footed the 80 felt on snowy, and slick roads. Very happy.

Same here, I'm down in Seattle and had to drop my in-laws at SeaTac mid morning on the 26th after the initial round of snow. We have an older Rav4 too but I wanted to use my 80. It felt like driving any other day, just with more care needed when stopping. I saw a couple other 100s out that seemed to be doing just fine too.Can confirm. We have had about 6-8" of snow and due to the fact that happens once a year they aren't setup to clean it. So all the side roads are packed snow and ice. And the 80 just toots along.
Can you confirm P/N on these? Keep seeing two diff ones for eachReplaced the rear hatch struts with new OEM. Something about how quick it snaps up… also took the time to clean all of the jam out of the jam. Feeling fresh.
I’ll grab ‘em in the morning. Part numbers are on my work bench and on my spreadsheet - both of which are in the garage. If I head back out again tonight, I may never come back. Can you confirm P/N on these? Keep seeing two diff ones for each
This OTRAMM video makes the process of removing cone nuts look too easy
Also thank you easy outs for coming in very helpful today!
