I decided to start some kind of build thread.
In forward i apologize for my lame english) I can read, but my writing skill is poor.
This KZJ78 i bought in 6 february 2021.

Thank you guys!
For registration i had to tear down all offroad tuning, now my rig looks almost stok, exclude 2 inch lift and snorkel.

Some time after purchase, when start engine i noticed that dashboard and both heater stopped working.
I changed "engine" fuse and everything worked, but after a few meters of driving I smelled burning insulation and then ... Fuse was defective.
After that i had to dismantle all dash, that fix wiring.

Good grief, i washed air conditioner radiator.

The short circuit was in gearbox wiring, i noticed that 4wd lamp doesn't work and decided check wiring.
I also found that the duster of gearbox was torn.
Made a temporary replacement) and washed the shifter. Later changed on OEM duster.

Previous owner give me old engine, some parts for the future. I plan to overhaul the engine and instal 2LT fuelpump.
Somebody ever remove balance shafts frome 1KZTE?
I read that mitsubishi owner do it, but no one described what result it does.

Thanks for the kind words. I live in the Far East near city Chita not so far from Baikal lake. On the photo my village.

It's a railcar / locomotive, I guess? The cruiser 'steering' wheel is awesome.
Thanks for the pics. Great rig you have. Must be fairly complicated to get parts into that remote area of Russia.

I think that in East Siberia they should be able to get easily goods from the port of Vladivostock, just accross of Japan...
But it is the Tractorist78 who could us enlighten...

This was exactly my impression, when I saw this beautiful, indeed, siberian landscape: but you can better certify it mate!

The Tractorist could inform us more, about the place, its nature (bears incuded!), the Cruiser community, to name a few...

You right, parts we get from Japan and also from UAE. At local town is a shop, but it sell only chinese parts with poor quality.

Could you tell us what is going on there? The bear just came from the woods/forest and the police/military interveved?

What is this nice Toyota 4wd van? It doesn't look as police car...
It seems that there are quite a lot second hand japanese cars imported and used by russian people (I would do the same)...

Yes, this bear came from forest and was shot local military.
4wd van is toyota town ace. There is a lot of jdm cars at the far east.
