Went to the woods this weekend. Couple decent pictures. New ground tent and arb fridge first run proved successful. Snow was at 3k'

4 days at Sand Hollow. This video is on the Double Sammy trail

Ajo, AZ. Cold at night, but warmer overall compared to New Mexico. I had white-out winter conditions getting there.

Bought my first one today! 1987 with original paint and straight body. Can wait to get started on some small tweaks.

Try a new radiator cap if you haven't already. I would see over-heating starting about every 5 years with Patch, and it always was fixed with a new cap.

My 4rnnr just goes to work and back these days. That would be a dull picture, but I'll see if I can make one at least a little interesting.....

But still has an overheating issue, might be a plugged radiator.
Also, consider fan clutch. Rockauto has AISIN for around $50. Use MUD 5% Discount Code: B4E640C11F0E57. Expires: April 14, 2022

It's a new Toyota OEM cap, might not hurt to try though.

I did just replace the fan clutch with the AISIN one and put in a new Toyota dual stage thermostat at the same time. Might just pick up a cheap radiator and see what happens, the one in there is a new CSF 2 row radiator. I'm now getting decent heat now from the heater, so I don't believe the heater core is plugged. I think it's either the radiator or worst case, head gasket.

So far, it only shoots up on the freeway, especially this weekend going up the grade towards Chiriaco Summit I-10E. I was that guy going 40MPH up the hill getting passed up by vintage VW vans :p
