Accelerator Pump Boot (1 Viewer)

GA Architect got mine fixed proper. The Keyster boot from the rebuild kit rotted before I ever got the carb installed on the manifold. The one from Toyota worked, and still is working.

Maybe there is a trick or two to get it started? How are your spark plugs looking these days? Black and shiny, powdery black, or just tan on the white insulator?

My carb runs lean in winter cold (contrary to an expert), and I prevent a high-altitude hiccup by capping the vacuum barb on the power valve. Running headers.

They appear to be the same material. The one from Toyota has held its shape fine.

Toyota oem ones are chemical resistent and UV RATED JIS EPDM rubber .............


keyster boots are sourced outside JAPAN now and have been for a while .........


keyster kits are good for the most part

however there pump plunger boots are ghetto trash from china grade part ? !
