Watched Office Space for about the gazillionth time tonight, but first time since owning an 80...immediately (and for the 1st time) noticed the 80 in the opening scene, 1:27 in:

Had the fam laughing at me for my LC nerdiness as usual.

Fun fact: this movie was shot about 20 miles from where we live, and about 5 miles from where I worked for many years.

I brought it home.

Picked it up in Charlotte on the 22nd, visited family in New England, and arrived home in Austin today. 2842 miles, adding just under 1% to the odometer.

This truck makes me happy.

@LC4LIFE Did you replace the knuckle studs? Reason i ask is that on mine the nut covers all except the last thread on the stud while yours look like they have 3 or 4 threads showing.
 
Some light Sunday a.m. PM, switched out my heater control valve. This was described in one thread as a :banana::banana: job.
I am a YouTube Certified 1/2:banana: mechanic and I found this to be super simple. The old one looked pretty beat, but not nearly as bad as many others in the previous threads.

Yep, studs, cone washers, nuts, and nut huggers. They are definitely longer than the originals.
