Replacement of cabin air filters with good quality CARBON infused paper filters. Though the Evap coil was clean as a whistle, the filters were filled with dog hair and some sort of stinky (Don't even know what) stuff that was getting rank as hell. All fresh and clean-smelling now, but i was wondering:

How does one clean and service the REAR? Those have no filters I am aware of; this is where my dogs spend MOST of their travel and sleep time..

Any advice would be much appreciated. I have the "two-can and Hoses" cleaning kit- just FYI.

Replaced the steering wheel with something sportier, it's a little thicker and feels great. Good deal for $249

Also did the JDM rear wiper, other one can't seem to stay at a parallel level to the windshield bottom and drove my OCD nuts

Change the RHS CV shaft. Not a difficult job but still not very pleasant. It took me 3 hours and several minutes was spent reinstalling the diff seal. Never fun not having the right tools to reinstall this seal!

The CV shaft axle is massive !View attachment 2736473
That looks like a shake weight commercial.

I did a thing or two.

@ClassyJalopy nice, any issues post-install? What’s your feedback on the ride now that it has the KTRS79 at the rear?

The ride continues to be pretty uncomfortable, but I am not done spending time and money on this AHC yet.

More here:

Replaced sender unit and that fixed the fuel gauge on my 04LC. Fuel gauge was intermittent and stopped working few months ago. Replaced fuel pump with denso unit as a PM

Did you push new bushings in the control arms? I’ve been wrestling with my wallet. I’m thinking of replacing the whole dang thing. My ball joints still “sound” good and visually show no damage. 21 years and 232000 miles, it’s lurking around a corner

If there is no play, just get the boot kit. If there is play, just replace the entire arm. IMO It’s just not worth it.

My requirements were; Automotive grade/ and silicone for water and temperature resistance. That’s it. It was $7.50, so not a big risk.
How did you decide on this product?

Picked up a new dead pedal and radiator cap.

Bought this unused, but old and weathered Tundra steelie for $25. Washed it and revitalized the black finish. Planning to throw a matching tire on there to serve as my spare. My original spare is badly corroded throughout the lug holes and center hole. So it’s trash IMO.

Replaced stock cross bars with 8020 t-slot aluminum extrusions. The extrusions and hardware were ordered from TNUTZ, which I’d highly recommend. Placed order on a Friday night and they shipped the following Monday, all for way less than 8020 brand.

Have a few more things to mount, will be great to flush mount the ski rack in the winter. Not gonna lie, loved how it looked when I had the entire roof rack completely off.

Installed my asfir skid plate. Super beefy and great option for the price. Also saw my driver cv boot ripped while I was under there. Ordered the reboot kit and will fix that tomorrow. View attachment 2746099

Thinking of getting that skid plate, i dont do any hard wheel and this looks nice. How much do these go for shipped and how long does it take to get to you?
