I did it years ago and it is exactly what you are looking for.
I have done it. It works.
Also you can get longer shackles just be sure to get the proper steel 4* caster shims to correct.
Man A Fre sells a monster 2” over stock they will lift you 1”
Cool cruiser has a dumbbell they will do 1/2” to 3/4”
Valley HybridsPerfect, it was so cheap that i was almost positive that there had to be a catch
Ive got the fancy triangle greasable shackles on there now. I do need the caster shims though, my steering is very wanderey already. Im sure adding more lift will throw it out even more. Who sells the shims?

V8, yes, but otherwise, this one is seems to me to be unremarkableThat does not seem way out there to me seeing what people are paying for 60s
Have you talked to Georg at Valley Hybrids? I'm sure he can hook you up.I tore up some parts in my split case so I'm hoping to find someone that did a 3:1 or 4:1 upgrade and shelved their stock parts.
I need:
Or, if you have an entire case for sale, I might be interested in it.
- Idler gear. 38mm 4 speed trans version (aka the 86-87 FJ60).
- Bearing race holder/retainer/donut that goes in the front half of the case. Near where the 2/4 shift fork is. This holds one of the output shaft bearings.

He recommends replacing the entire gearset (which I know is the right way), so I went ahead an ordered a 3:1 kit.Have you talked to Georg at Valley Hybrids? I'm sure he can hook you up.
