The black thing joining the pink/black wire to fat red wire is a weatherpak connector, not a fusible link. If wiggling it causes the engine to run or not run, then open it by unlocking the two plastic clips on the outer shell, swing the outer shell open, separate and inspect it. A pin extraction tool is necessary to completely disassemble. Well worth spending $10 for a set of extraction tools for working on a TBI vintage wire harness. Also a DVM/multi-meter is worth getting if you don't have one already. pink/black should be +12v with ignition ON.
