No older than 2-3 years, don’t recall the date exactly. I don’t own any gasoline-consuming vehicles, they’ve only ever had diesel in them.

They likely have a date stamp at the bottom of the can if it hasn’t been rubbed off you can use to tell how old they are.

I wouldn't worry too much about those little spiders. I'll make sure to give both fuel cans a good wipe down with disinfecting wipes before sale
