Started removing my driver side knuckle in preparation for Longfields, new high steer arms and a general refresh on everything in the knuckles. My old 4x4labs high steer arms are built for more lift than I have now so they’ll be going up for sale soon.

Finally getting back to work on the STPCHLD. After a seized engine...

This 2F and 4spd (after cleanup):

While we wait on the steering housing. Test fit the 6014 in her new home. Little clearancing (new word i learned on Mud hehehe), bolt holes and a few passes with the welder, be all good.

Had a custom hitch made... most I found dropped too low that would hit the rear step or stuck out too far and not allow any room for the step to be utilized. Now I can throw the Yakima bike rack on and take the 40 when mountain biking.

Fixed a fuel leak. seems I had an intermittent wet spot developing Between the carb and valve cover that I had not noticed until today. "Gosh, it sure is damp there, it can't ALL be oil leaking out from the valve cover". So i thought I'd just snug up that banjo that holds the fuel return line. But it didn't want to snuggle up, it just kept turning. "uh oh" sez I. So I got my spare carb parts box out. Naturally, I have a spare for that banjo bolt (IIRC, I have 1.338 completely disassembled carbs in that box). And this banjo bolt DID thread in, nice and tight, about as tight as you can with one hand on a 17mm endwrench.
Started it up, still leaking from that little bolt on the top of the banjo bolt, so I hit that with a 10mm for a quarter turn, and then all was dry again.
So now I'm worried about those threads for the banjo bolt in my airhorn.
