Backpacked into Wahtum Lake for an overnighter. Caught some Brook Trout fly fishing and some huge crawdads.

Thanks. The external paint and body were pretty much DIY, and about maxed out my skill level. Definitely maxxed out my elbow grease.
Finished for now, though there always seems there is more to be done. Door panels about the last part of the puzzle. Some day.

No injuries, we flipped it over, rolled it down the hill, removed the contaminated soil and spent a few hours getting it running again. They drove it off the trail with no windshield and doors ratchet strapped shut. The tub is too bent to be re-used and I believe he is trying to find a used tub to put on and rebuild it.

Man!!! It is indeed an amazing sounding diesel. I remember taking it for a test drive when the PO was selling it out here on the east coast. (I think it’s the same truck at least). Body was pretty straight too.
