I attempted to re-task the preexisting "vintage" Nokia car phone speaker, in the passenger footwell, for use as an external speaker for the ham radio, but the old speaker ended up being pretty badly blown

A similarly shaped Amazon special bolted right into the same place, using the same hardware, and solved the issue:

So since I set a 3/4" rake when I got my inronman kit installed the weight of gear and passenger would cause the rear to drop and sag in the back for trips. This wasn't a problem really since I knew I wanted to go higher and planned to install the 1" rear coil spacer anyways.

Ironman is down the road from me so I swooped in and picked up a pair for $70 and about an hours worth to install in the beaming sunlight lol.

Pretty Stinky- that much lift in the back will prob bring on some driveline vibes- stand by.

That’s some stinkbug there. It can be fixed though.

Did the rear sway bar links/bushings last week, did the fronts today. I sprayed down the bolts with some PBlaster last night, and I noticed the suspension squeak was gone so I was hopeful that it truly was the old bushings and links causing the noise. After swapping them out for new parts, the squeak is gone!

Last week and a half: landlord of three years tells us he's selling our house. There are no rentals because everyone from NYC has flocked to our area. They have also driven housing prices up 38%.

The next day, last Thursday, we bought a house. Thankfully, we liked it.

We are renting a house in Grand Junction starting 7/16 for the rest of the summer. We signed contracts on the house yesterday, and I am heading out tomorrow. @Onur follows me once his truck is done. We are floating rivers, wheeling, camping, hiking. I can't wait to spend some time behind the wheel, and hoping our 7 month old German Shepherd doesn't make me stop every hour. 🤣

Finishing up our trip to the mountains. A few last overlooks.

The family and i took the 06 LX on her first road trip. 2,440 miles round trip down to Florida and back. Greased all the zerks before the trip and did the AC drain extension mod. No issues but makes me want HIDs lows and fogs. Oem 100 series lights are dim at best

I had a chance to install Rad Designs rubber fender aprons on the DS and PS front wheel well. The neoprene rubber is much more substantial than the OEM aprons. The fit was excellent and super easy to do. It gave me a chance to clean up some crud that had accumulate between the OEM aprons and properly treat some rust that was hidden.

The kit came with replacement clips plus some extras, so not need to replace the old ones.

Took the Hundy for a front alignment this morning. It drives like a new truck. Nice, tight, and responsive.

Every bushing, ball joint, tie rod end, hose, oil cooler o-rings, alternator, in the front has been replaced.

I think the front suspension is so happy right now that I'm getting an unexpected 2.5" lift. Ha! I need to get AHC into adjustment to bring it into spec.

The stabilizer bar bushings and links are OEM. But the end link are some poly bushings that I already had in the shop. I like to use a combination of poly ends and rubber bar bushings. Quiet and responsive. I'll get some new brake lines when I decide what I'm going to do about lift.
