I was being generous.

I arrived Friday evening after driving through the torrential rain that the Friday gang was wheeling through. The next morning, we had a five-truck group with Steve and Jeff in the 62, Chris and Burl in Chris's 40, Rob Teague and Mircea in Rob's 40, Greg in his 80, and me in Rob Matzell's 40. For about five hours, we snaked our way from camp to the Overlook, and then headed straight back to camp.

Jeff appears to be shrinking with age.

Rob Matzell, Jeff, and Mircea trying to figure out why Rob's 40 won't start. After a stall, it was hard starting, like the battery was dying and then we saw smoke coming from under the hood. A ground wire was melting. Rob removed, reattached, and rewrapped the wire and it seemed to work well after.

Thanks to everyone for organizing another amazing weekend of wheeling and meeting new friends and thanks again to @afgman786 for pulling me out of a mud hole I had no business being in! Its always good to have friends around. I had an amazing time ended up worse than the Range Rover...popped tire, wet mats, and bent skids. Can't wait for the next one 🍻

Quite the precarious stance on the cruiser sitting on the red bottle jack!!!! Thanks for al the pictures I really enjoyed them.

My sidewall tore open on a tree stump just before the breakover at the top of a hill. The trails to the right and behind were about 45°. Best we could do with where we were. The truck was leaning about 30° to the right and angled towards the front so there was very little weight on that corner. The pictures never do the trails justice but you're right and it was a definitely sketchy

Another awesome weekend of wheeling in the books…

Special thanks to guys like Rob M. and Gary, who have been instrumental in helping me make good decisions in getting my old girl in shape to be the ultimate 40 driver/wheeler! I love the Orion, air lockers, 3.7s, etc. etc. etc.

Was looking under the 200 today and noticed how dented the gas tank skid is... definitely from where I had trouble right behind camp. Real glad I have these skids!
