A friend and I went half in on a 220v Lincoln Welder, and I watched some YouTube videos on how to weld

I have a hookup at a steel fabrication plant and I got all the steel totally free. All in, including my half of the welder, weld accessories, steel brush, grinding wheels, cutting wheels and tools like a dewalt grinder, and a monster harbor freight hand drill. and I'm under $400. (PS: wish I'd have purchased a tube notcher. My God.) This weekend was my first time welding so be easy on me.

Heres some pics!

I chose the 4xInnovations swing out. It utilizes two 1 inch wheel bearings for the pivot. I've opened it and bounced on the arm. It does not sag!

Great build. I would gusset the base of the vertical tire support to the horizontal swing out.

Maybe not. Just depends on how heavy your tires are....or will become🤣

Looks nice. Now you'll have to make a bracket to relocate your license plate, and wire in lighting.

Great job! Really impressed with your first job. Swag Offroad is one of my favorite fab vendors. I love their portaband table and also have their finger brake. They too make notch cutters.

Thanks for the compliment and the link. I'll check them out now.
