SOLD! Recently our Ex Victorian CFA FJ55 was sitting on a paddock waiting for the right bunch of gents to come by and give it a new lease on life. Those happened to be @truebluetouring.

CFA is the Country Fire Authority in Victoria Australia. Our Rural Fire Services.

Whilst rebuilding the 55, I have planned to retire the 80 Multivalve for daily duties. Picked up the new whip today. Have to say I am pretty chuffed. KDJ155R 3 Door prado. Auto. Turbo Diesel, 90,000km.

Getting soft on us now. You won't want to drive the 55 after getting used to the luxury. Nice!

Nice Prado. They sell a lot of those in Saudi.....almost all of them white.

Thanks Scrapdaddy. Had to keep the missus happy. She wanted a BJ42 but not the leaf springs. So we compromised and this is what we got.

Few more photos. Bit of urban articulation in the front yard. Booked in for a Remap and Tune. Expected 115kw & 550nm Torque at the wheels.

Getting the Prado remapped and Tuned. EGR turned off. Making now roughly 510nm & 115kw at the wheels. Supporting the small local guys. Not bad for a 3.0L Turbo Diesel.

Back to some 55 content.
Starting again on the floor. Will have it done and seats in by the end of the month.

Photo of Drivers side done. Passenger side now cut out.

Drivers side fron guard repaired and new bracket.

Trimmed and filled in. Lines up well with the slide.

Rear quater chop now complete and boxed in.

Today started on picking the old supports from under the passenger foot well. Support is in a good condition, and will see another 40 year use.

I also found this beauty opt shopping with the missus for some plants. Second hand Drill Press. Quick clean up and polish will see it spring back to life.
