This afternoon we went out to a new spot to see what we can see. Got into a little hairy spot because I forgot to put into 4wheel and got the family a little nervous 😬 lesson learned, but it didn't look that steep.:frown:

Really like the look of those leads. I’m not sure if they’d handle enough juice for my 40’s bigger brother.

I recently replaced these:

With these:

A new (+) lead is about $300 usd. I’ve got a spare around, but figured it would’ve taken me several hours to run the replacement properly. The new ends took less than a 1/2 hour to install. On the (+) side I had to connect the third ‘0’ gauge lead to the mounting bolt since the terminal only had capacity for two 0/1 gauge leads.

Knuckle service & TRE’s from @cruiseroutfit -fantastic customer experience. LOF & tire rotation. Also, started the @Racer65 weather stripping project.

Thanks to corona for the free time and @cjmoon for the guidance and help!

Finally had my soft top bows, and spare carrier painted. Left all the dents, bumps and bruises. It looks great. Exactly what I pictured seven years ago!
My painter was awesome too. Terrific price and had a sense of humor. It was all wrapped in TOYOTA/Lexus bubble wrap.

Spent about 10 minutes on the spare 2F putting a cleaned-up rocker arm assembly under the valve cover to clear bench space. Now, the 2F in the truck seems strong, but life got really disoriented in the last couple of weeks, so I needed to do just something to the Cruiser small to keep up the momentum. That was the best 10 minutes of the whole weekend, restoring perspective thru a rusty tool box, just a baby step for the 40. The rest of the neighborhood was quite, steadily binging on a diet of newspaper, television, phone, and internet, intoxicated on an external depression, activities of denial, and going thru hedonic adaptation.

Her maiden off-road voyage since coming stateside... up north to the Agua Fria National Monument with the Troopy for company.
