Still a long way to go but today was a good day. Very happy to finally cross this bridge.
 
Looks great! Which turbo are you running, and how much boost are you planning? Even with the stock aneroid at the most aggressive side, I think you'll be really happy with power.
 
Figured this motor belonged to you, saw all the engine porn pics of it posted this week.

Now its time to get a detailer to make the engine bay match the engine.

@Jroc561 yea I guess I will just clean it myself. At this point I’d just like it to run. And yea....you can imagine how super thrilled I was with someone sharing those photos in a completely unrelated build thread. They could have at least had the decency to tag me or something.

I simply posted those photos, as I would any other, to promote Rob's talent. If I've ruffled your feathers and obviously I have, I apologize. The error will not occur again.
 
More progress. The LRA tank is now mounted up. Got a sweet OEM diesel tach for the project. Will look very appropriate. Plan is to start the engine this week.

Fact: it takes a LOT of wires to run a US spec 1FZ. This setup will not require many of those wires. Going to take a minute on that one.

John I am pretty sure you can bolt in an FJ62 compressor. CoolStream in Arizona has remann'ed ones for under $300. I also have a new OEM clutch for the one in your truck on the shelf if you need it.

Also, I need that sticker "1HD-FT", where did you guys get that?

Nice tach. Its the little things that make conversions like this really come together.
 
It was on it the engine when I got it. If I get it to you can you make some copies?

I could, did the tcase stickers and they came out great.

Let’s hold off though, I will just see if I can get my hands on an FTE and cut off the E like Onur says.
