I’ve been wanting a 200 series, and the time has come.

She’s glorious. Manual gear box, racing suspension, upgraded turbo / intercooler, injectors, fuel system, ecu etc. a real fly’n brick.

How did I miss this? I love me some Swedish 200 series! I had a few in HS that I absolutely beat the piss out of. Very durable...

Looks to be ~'75? Unless someone changed the front grille... Not sure when they changed from dual headlights to quad, sometime between '75 and '78.

Lots of room to go V8! The Aussie locker homepage had a post from a guy who threw one in the back of a 200 series and laid rubber everywhere he went, I think he was saying the rear was a Dana 44 equivalent? I never investigated.

Oh wait, now I see the tailights - later than a '78, but someone swapped some front end sheetmetal on that pretty little brick. Long roofs rule!

Is this a direct swap for Pig radiator?

needs some mods but almost Same dimensions as oem

My plan was to build a 1uz Turbo v8 wagon out of the Volvo. Little did I know how coveted and sought after the early turbo brick with a stick was. It is actually pretty quick in its current form and a riot to drive. All that being said its not going to gap any modern American muscle, as most have at least 400hp now a days.

Shes a factory red block 84 turbo wagon with a 76 front clip. As much as I like the car I’ve decided to sell it. Instead of modding it, I’ve purchased a different wagon to build. Initially I wanted to do this all to the 55, but it is so dang reliable and such a great long distance tourer, I didn’t want to F that up.

Here are some of the parts I’ve accumulated for “the build“ My plans have shifted to using a Eaton m112 supercharger, instead of twin turbskis. Ive sourced an intake adapter with intercooler for the m112 to bolt on. This Dellow Bellhousing allows me to utilize an h55 behind it all. We will see how the clutch holds up to 500hp

How was the process of getting the bell housing from Dellow? I have heard it can be hit or miss.

I bought it from the classifieds here on mud. I’ve tried to contact Dellow without much luck myself

Well......not really - I did take the pic though.

(Notice the door is cracked. I really need to repair the exterior door handle)
