Not much heat from front core - FJ62 (1 Viewer)

I got warmer air by replacing t-stat and making the the O-RING was in place. This was the number factor from no heat to warm air.
Same for me. Similar symptoms and a new thermo + gaskets did the trick (was considering a flush but went with thermo replacement first —- glad I did)
 
Clr, various hose connections and clamps and one of these to make a closed circulation system. Probably didn't need to do all that but sometimes I get bored.

Hey that's not a bad idea. Be good to keep it circulating and really clean out the core. I'll do the CLR (I'm afraid of overdoing the muriatic acid and/or spilling it somewhere bad) and then rinse good with distilled. Maybe in the next couple weeks I'll tackle it while I'm waiting for the parts I need to refurbish my blower motor.
