Hi everyone , has anyone encountered this issue with their 60 , everything looks fine checked all the grounds i could find but the high beams just stall the motor . Its weird .

Check to make sure your battery terminals are clean and the cables are tight. Also check the fusible link is clean.

Sounds like an ignition wiring issue. If it happens when touching the light indicator switch then I’d pull the steering column cover off carefully (since they are brittle) and take a look for problems there.
Do you hang a heavy set of keys off your ignition?

Ok got a new battery (old one was overdue for replacement anyway) cleaned up the terminals everything tight , cleaned up the grounds and alternator connections still doing it , I guess the next job is diving into the steering column / ignition . Hopefully its something obvious and i can spot it . otherwise i might have to see an auto electrician . Thanks for the help so far .
